The Harrow Group was formed in 1977 by a group of very keen enthusiasts.  We currently have an active membership of people coming from a variety of backgrounds and from beginners to the very experienced marquetarians: male and female; young and old.

The group supports the activities of the Marquetry society and a few years ago in 2004, we hosted the National Exhibition in Harrow, on their behalf.

We are a friendly group who meet every Friday evening except Christmas and Good Friday, between 7.30pm and 10.pm  in the Hatch End Free Church, Rowlands Avenue, Hatch End, Pinner, Middlesex, HA5 4DF.  As well working evenings, we also have visiting speakers, talks,  and demonstrations for the benefit of the membership.  Throughout the year, we attend various art/craft exhibitions in the area to promote the craft.

Visitors to the  group are most welcome and beginners are started off on a one-one basis and teaching is provided by practical example and on an informal basis.

We have a very good selection of veneers and other materials - in fact most of the requisites needed for marquetry, and all available at very reasonable prices.

Meetings: Friday evenings at Hatch End Free Church, Rowlands Avenue, Hatch End, Pinner, Middlesex, HA5 4DF.

The Church is a modern low profile building on the corner of Rowland's Avenue and Uxbridge Road. It is less than 7 minutes walk from the Arts Centre and Hatch End Station.
