Inter-group marquetry group competition

In October St Albans Group hosted a competition with Chelmsford and Harrow.
Using line drawings for members to interpret, we had two classes. 
The judging was performed by those attending placing a £1 coin in the numbered box which corresponded with their choice. All the money went to a local charity.
The winners ( the enlarged pictures) were Class 1 Catherine Steel - Chelmsford.
Class 2 Ivor Bagley - St Albans. .

The standard of the entries was very high and so we have agreed to feature them at the International Marquetry Exhibition in this year of 2014
